 Susan Williams, OTR/L, CHT
Certified Hand Therapist
Susan has been working as an Occupational Therapist for over 30 years, specializing in hand therapy for over 20 years. She attended Sierra College and graduated with departmental honors from the OT program at San Jose State University in 1976. Her work experience includes patients of all ages and covers such diverse areas as inpatient treatment for the developmentally disabled, special education consulting and Visiting Nurses home health care.
In 1986, Susan was privileged to joint the team at Hand Rehabilitation Center of Sacramento. She specialized her practice in upper extremity care, later focusing specifically on the hand. She became a certified Hand Therapist, and in 1994 established a hand therapy program for Sierra Rehabilitation in her native Grass Valley.
Susan has been at North Valley Orthopaedic and Hand Surgery since 1998, where she enjoys working with her crew, Andrea Hankins and Jobina Navratil. She resides in Grass Valley with her husband, where they raised two daughters and where she now cares for her herd of horses and pack of dogs. Susan is a consummate animal lover and enjoys walking the many area nature trails.
